Presentation on EHealth, Ottawa, Dec 9.

“Some consider the Healthcare sector to be the last industrial sector to dramatically leverage and transform itself using ICT.  If this is indeed true then Canada is well positioned to seize the opportunity to be the global leader.   Although there are definite areas that can be improved, it can be argued that Canada has one of the best healthcare delivery systems around the world.  On the ICT front, Canada has well over 450 domestic and foreign eHealth vendors developing and/or supplying products and services to effectively automate healthcare delivery processes.  The combination of a world leading healthcare system and a robust eHealth industry is a recipe for domestic and global success.  Is Canada ready to cook?”
